Wishing all you brats a good thanksgiving.

Nice time to slow down and spend time with family.

Cheers

And a Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you too! Guess you celebrate it when we celebrate Columbus day as a way of saying thank goodness he discovered us instead of you!!

Definitely, a wish for a Happy Thanksgiving to our Northern neighbors. Save some turkey for our upcoming celebration.

Technically Canadian Thanksgiving is on the second Monday of October, which is tomorrow. We have a lot of friends here on Maui that are Canadian and we always join them with a big potluck turkey dinner here. It is impossible to find a fresh turkey over here, or even a freshly frozen one, so it is always joked about as to which US holiday the turkey we have came from.

A happy Thanksgiving, and a BEAUTIFUL day as well! Wishing all c-brats north and south of the US/Canada border the best. Piers Island is shining in the sun light today.

Cheers,

Kelly and Jeremy

I was on the dock at John Wayne marina this evening, talking with a gal who was a "seaman" on a Canadian Coast Guard weather ship. As our conversation ended, she said "Happy Thanksgiving". It didn't click until I was halfway up the dock. Sorry.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Northern Friends.

you mean Chardone "eh", eh?

Perhaps he means a Rose-eh. A friend of mine makes just such a wine. The wine maker (Jim Page) is a Canadian who now lives in WA.

One thing that is common whether its served with Chardon eh in October north of the border or, Chardonay in November south of the border. What the heck to do with all that left over Turkey! I'm making soup now but there is still about 6lbs of left over meat. Any good turkey left overs recipes out there?

Happy Northern Thanks Giving to all of you!

Ron

I have been guilty of cooking whole turkeys just to slice and place in the fridge for left overs. Like it more then warm turkey sometimes. Sandwiches, salads, soups, small bits on sharp chedder. well I have to go eat lunch now thanks.
