They remember our anniversary because it's one of the many things we have in common. :D We share birthday months, anniversary date, and fine taste in boats! :wink:

I will take the Blonde out for breakfast this morning; treat her to some boat time if she's so inclined, and she has my favorite supper planned for tonight. This is also the day we traditionally do our Christmas decorating.

Yeah, congrats for sure! You are welcome to use our thing: "We have been married 39 damn years - and two good ones!" (Yours, of course, becomes 34 damn years and two good ones, you probably could have figured that out). Leave them guessing which were the two good ones!

Back in the "olden days" when I was still shooting weddings, I heard many of the marriage lines. One of my favorites:

Marriage is a wonderful institution... if you want to spend your life in an institution. :mrgreen:

Joan and I were married back when the vows (for her) included, "love, honor, and obey." Mine were "love, honor, and cherish." I've been doing my part. 8)

Karen wanted no part of that "obey" stuff and instructed the minister to leave it out - he obeyed.

Jim & Joan.... Congrates! 36 years.... Wonderful. But, I did not think "The Blonde" was but about 35-36 years young. Wow... Yall must have had one of those young weddings for sure.

Sherryl and I will have our 30th on 9Dec.... When asked to describe my wonderful blue eyed lady in one word..... Well.... DURABLE... is the only word that will work.

I wish you many more great times and travels together.
