Happy 4th guys! We're on a mooring at Spectacle Island in the Boston Harbor. Hot!!! But so peaceful.

I'm contemplating life. Career, marriage and the most important thing (new boat)!

Gonna be a big Cat....purr, purr.
 
Only 87 degrees and sunny today, so it's time for a...2 hour beach hike on our favorite beach in the whole world!
Here's a picture today about noon on July 4, 2018. No one in sight on the beach in either direction on an ideal July 4. Water a balmy 84 degrees. Does this even exist anywhere else on July 4 in a place with no state income tax?

We have a wet slip and dry slip 5 minutes from home ($320/month combined) both with water and power. This beach is just accross Big Lagoon, about 1/2 mile.

Don't tell anyone, we want to keep it for ourselves.

Happy 4th to all, but let us not forget what we celebrate and why there was a Declaration of Independence; Freedom from oppression. We are the most fortunate people on Earth. Not only do we live in free countries (Canada had their holiday on the 1st--slightly different, but same values), but we own one of the greatest boats built--a C Dory!
