Hello all C-Brats. We are here to introduce ourselves as new C-Dory owners. We are the new keepers of Pat and Patty's Daydream, and will be introduced to some of you this weekend on our first C-Brats outing at Cornet Bay. This feels like a big exciting opportunity for adventure, and from the perusals of this web site an opportunity to meet a whole bunch of great people. We are deeply appreciative of Pat and Patty's welcome and look forward to the "denaming ceremony". We have come up with a new name for her - boat-y-sattva. I have a VERY long explanation as to where that comes from which will have to wait for the weekend..and a couple of beers/wine/or martini - (I'm flexible)
Looking very forward to meeting you all. Though we are a bit nervous that we bring the right thing for our first potluck.

I can help you with that. Just bring yourselves, and everything else will fall into place. You're going to make some special friends. As for your luck, I would say it is running pretty high, what with the purchase of so fine a boat.

Welcome to our little hole in the web! It is great to hear from you, and I look forward to meeting you a little later on this summer.

You have a photo album set up already. You'll find a link to it in the profile info to the left of all your message posts, and it is on the album list in alpha order. I took the liberty of setting the permissions so Pat and Patty can also add photos to your album for the time being. They take some good ones! We'll boot them off there soon enough. I titled the album exactly as you wrote your new boat's name (sans caps). If you are wishing it changed, or need any assistance at all with anything on here, just ask.

Have fun, and get ready to discover exactly what all you unexpectedly bought with that boat!
 
We are very happy that our former boat is about to be in the hands of people who will experience as much joy from it as we have - in the short time we have known Kas and Mart, we know this for certain!

I'm sure you will love the boat. It's just icing on the cake that it comes with a built-in extended family.(sort of) :lol: :lol:

You are fortunate to be in the C-Dory home waters. We definitely will make it up there at some point.

Kas n Mart, A great big ole C-Dory welcome to you both. I would love to sneak up to Cornet Bay Sat night to meet you, and to hear the very long explanation of the origin of boat-y-sattva. (Well, and to share in a couple of :cocktail , :beer , as I too, am flexible) I bet it is a great story. Why don't you plan on coming to Jarrell Cove, and tell it again? Would love to have you. Kas & Mart - well, now you are experienced! It was a fabulous weekend, glad we could extend it a little with lunch - having you over to flush the motors and wash boat-y-sattva was NOT a trick! We'll get the dang windlass fixed, and get boat-y-sattva to Shilshole ASAP, hope we will see you regularly at C-Brat gatherings!
