Welcome Rich- It was nice to meet you at the Factory Party this year. We spent a lot of time with Bret at the SBS and was very impressed at how interested he was with the modifications we had done to our 22' cruiser.
We hope that the interest and communication that we had with Jeff will continue.

Hi Rich,

I have joined the C-Brat Community only recently. We bought a 19 foot angler from a couple in New Hampshire last December. Given the weather conditions in Canada, needless to say, we have not yet had the opportunity to test the boat yet. It sits in the driveway covered with snow!

I will be bringing the boat to Lac St Jean in North Eastern Quebec. This is a fairly substantial body of water. To my knowledge, it will be the first C-Dory on the lake. Unfortunately, it appears there is no C-Dory dealer in Eastern Canada.

It is all the more important that there is something like the C-Brats site where one can find all sorts of useful information on issues related to C-Dories. I certainly would not have purchased a C-Dory without the benefit of the C-Brats site.

All the best,

John Langevin

Hi Rich,
We are on the East Coast of NC We have just Purchased a 22 Cruiser 2007 From Mobile East Marine. It is good to know that the Factory & Dealers are there for the Owners of C-Dorys. We can tell other Boaters how great they are, thanks for carring.

PS What Bob Austin replied has happened to me also

Rich,
It’s great to see the FaC-Dory Guy on the C-brats site. We’re particularly impressed that you posted your e-mail address and phone numbers. It’s good to know that the company owner is willing to take phone calls and be there for his customers.

My wife and I have a 22 cruiser on order from Y-Landing in NH. And we can’t tell you how excited we are--April can’t come soon enough for us. (Actually, the boat was scheduled to go into the mold late last week.)

We looked at many boat models and spent much time at local boat shows and boat dealers before deciding on the C-Dory. Spending $50K doesn’t come easily. After narrowing down our decision about which boats met our requirements, we monitored the user group web pages for those boat models.

In addition to the 22 cruiser “just feeling right” for us, we were sold on the C-Dory after monitoring the C-Brats web site. The enthusiasm and passion, the willingness to answer questions, and the friendliness of the C-Brats made our decision making process easier.

It's comforting to know that you are monitoring this site.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome as the Fac-dory Guy.

Yes, we are excited about being there at Lopez Island in May.

We are very passionate about C-Dory boats for sure.

I look forward to meeting and visiting with all the CBrats I can.

Yes, Bret did install the Steering Wheel Cap and it looks beautiful.

Rich I wanted to tell you the impression my wife and I had after our hour plus talk the last Saturday of the boat show was very positive. You took our griping about price increased in stride when we had no idea exactly who you were (until you gave us your card). And you sure did do a valiant attempt at talking her into a 22 and the virtues of a porta-potty but I saw in your face the realization that "she ain't gettin' on anything less than a 25 or a TC" heh.

I did not realize Jeff has moved on (?), and he's the only other factory guy we've had a lengthy conversation with; and it was equally pleasant. One of these years I'm sure I'll be shaking your hand again. For real this time.
