Great Warranty Experience with Fluid Marine

I purchased and took delivery of my C-Dory in March of 2008, prior to Fluid Marine's purchase of the predecessor company's assets. There was never a hint of "that's the prior company's problem". All was handled fast and professionally.....

That's great to hear Mark. I too have had an excellent experience with Frank Walter.

I have said this before, but the fastest way for C-Dory to loose it's owner loyalty, and most successful selling vehicle, is to dismiss the warranties on vessels sold prior to their ownership. I bought my Tomcat at about the same time as you (April 2008) and back then they were sold with a 10 year hull warranty. This was a significant selling point for me and I would be one upset owner if they did not honor it.

As I said, my experience with Frank and C-Dory warranty coverage has been excellent and I appreciate it greatly.

I had a pleasant experience with Fluid about a year ago. My hour meter quit and I called Fluid. It took them three days to return my call but I attribute that to they had just taken over C-Dory. They sent me a new meter without any problem.

I nominate this message as the most hijacked ever.

Great bumper sticker.

Sorry about Billy, Jerry, ....

I still enjoy flautist Hubert Laws' cover of Floyd's Cymbaline

I going load it in the itouch this weekend.

high jack thread for Jan 30

I listened to Chronicles Vol 1 by Bob Dylan and read by Sean Penn. It paints a different picture of Bob's life and music than the news media

I'll play... I saw Bob a few years ago at a concert where Willie Nelson opened for him. I've always liked both of them but Willie's stuff is getting kind of old and boring Bob on the other hand is pure musical genious and he and his band just blew poor old Willie away. Since his comeback so to speak it's as if he's on some sort of creative steroids. In other words I really have high hopes for Fluid Marine'c customer service under the new management.

I'm still not over Jerry Garcia or Stevie Ray's deaths.

I'm not one to get too emotional over the passing of a celebrity, but I still get a little choked up every time I hear certain SRV licks. So few musicians have the rare combination of technical mastery and intense emotion in their performances.

Oscar Peterson's passing was no walk in the park either, but at least we got to enjoy him for a lifetime.

I didnt know Fluid Marine was a band?

Sorry again for getting so far off topic I'll try to do better :)

I use to really love John Connelly until I met him in person. What a Pxxxk he did sign a poster for my daughter. If I had listened to Rose Colored Glasses one more time I would have spent all my money in the Honky Tonks.

Here's something to listen to for my getting so far off topic

Brent,
"Fluid Marine" - awesome name for a band. If nothing else, maybe certain C-Brats create/produce a title song "Fluid Marine" to be played on the Fluid Marine site.

Bill,
Indeed, I agree w/ you on SRV. My first concert was Three Dog Night - One Is The Lonliest Number, Alpine Music Festival, WI; and, of course SRVs last show location. Another of my fav bands who developed alongside SRV was The Blasters - the Alvin brothers could rock a house.

Nice list. I still have to stop and listen anytime I hear Elvis doing gospel music.

And speaking of Fluid Marine and warranty things,

Neil Diamond refunded for all the tickets when he messed (said his voice was not up to what it should have been), :cry a concert here in the PNW, Seattle or Portland. Now there is real consumer service. :smiled

Harvey
SleepyC C-I didn't mess it up too bad :wink
