Great Docking Skills

If you can't go boating then watching boating videos comes close.

This YouTube video popped up on my computer. All I can say is I wish I could dock like this Captain

The journey goes from the Faroe Islands to Iceland. I have been to Iceland a couple of times and it is one of my favourite places in the world and I plan to go again soon, once this C-19 BS is over. The Faroe Islands are high on my places to go and on this Ferry it might be a great way to go. Imagine Iceland and the Faroe Islands on one vacation.

Enjoy

I could probably dock a lot better if I had twins and dual thrusters and no wind too!! :D It's so much more entertaining to friends and onlookers though to ping pong ball off the pilings. I don't want to disappoint them!

I was a little surprised that the ferry didn't have a foreword solid state radar to pickup the small fishing boats. In-expensive, and they are wireless, so no cables to run. Can pick up buoys, and kayaks etc.

Beautiful area. Lots of great World to see.

I love to see the way the real Captains handle those big vessels. :thup :thup and then there are those who don't have a clue  :thdown

I was on MV Coho a couple of years ago when we were back there visiting relatives and I was so impressed with the warping in to the berth like that. It's one thing to do it with a little boat and just really amazing to watch when it is a BIG boat!
