I just want to thank everyone on this site for all the information you have given. I still think that C-Dory's are the saltiest looking boats on the water. I have purchased a used custom made aluminum fishing machine fully loaded for less than a new 22 angler so I will be moving on. Thank you all for such a great site and keep up the good work. See you on the water.

To All You Friendly C-Brats,
Fred and I have loved our Tattoosh since 1992 and have relied on C-Brats for great information and ideas on modifications and improvements. We will sorely miss the ability to zip to destinations and the comraderie of the C-Dory family. We just waved goodbye to Tattoosh and happy new owners on Friday.
We got 4-footitis and moved to a green 26' NT ( Sjø Røver ) so give us a wave as you zoom by us in the future. Hope you won't mind us hanging around the site to steal ideas from you even though we will be applying them to a different boat.

The very least you guys could do is write the factory and tell them:

"you finally were forced to sell because you just couldn't procure new C-Dory logos!"

Kidding aside, we all wish you well,

Chris

Ooops I guess I don't know how to add photos !!

Thanks Chris for the well wishes! We are enjoying the new boat but it doesn't have the great network of owners that C-Dory had with C-Brats!
New Nordic Tug is sweet too but I get nostalgic for the quick and efficient weekend trips of our campmobile on the water. Nordic Tug is more like the Winnabago on the water truly a wonderful boat for our future plans but "built for comfort not for speed."
I found photos of our last trip on the Tattoosh crabbing off Lopez Island fall '07.
Fred and our Westie cabin boy Angus Mc Naughty at the helm.

I tried to add photos but could not. [img]

Images have to be posted in an album. From there you can post them to a forum thread.

What year is your 26 NT? I don't remember the year NT stopped producing them. That opened up the door for the Ranger.

Funny thing about the NT 26. My Ranger salesman sold one last month for 180k. The boat was 20 years old. Why someone would pay that for a used one when they could buy a new Ranger Tug for less just boggles mi brain.

For the same reason we paid the big bucks for the VW van back in the day.
