Going to Omak to Meet Our New Granddaughter!!!!

Great Photos,
I'm surprised you didn't trailer the boat over so we could see pictures of how excited Harper is on a C-Dory!

Again, Congratulations to the whole family!

Hey - take a couple of days away from the forum and you miss so much.

Congrats!

Harper contemplating life on the outside
No... she is contemplating whether it will be a CD25 or a TomCat when she grows up.

Pat and Patty,

Congratulations. What a beautiful new baby. Believe me, they don't all look nearly so good, (have seen several thousand over the years). Life will never be the same for any of you 5. Enjoy,

Little Miss Harper,
We haven't been on the site for a while. Very glad we checked tonight !!!
We sure welcome you to this big world of ours and especially to our loving C-Brat family. We can't wait for Grandpa & Grandma to bring you to your first gathering!! Who knows, maybe Rev. Jim and Rev. Dave would even be willing to do your christening. Better ask Daddy and Mommy about that.
You are a blessed little girl who will have more special times ahead than you can imagine with your fun grandpa and grandma !!

Harper will go sailing with Grandpa Greg and Conor and Lydia, and C-Dory cruising with Grandpa Pat and Nana (Patty is Nana, Conor's mom is Grandma Mary, who is not a boater, alas). The best times will be when we hook up with Greg, Conor, Lydia and Harper in the San Juan Islands. They will probably be on Kipper Kite, the Beneteau 42 that Greg frequently charters out of Bellingham. Conor proposed to Lydia on a sailing trip on Kipper Kite on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Their story is still on the San Juan Sailing web site, read about it here (click the link below "Check Kipper Kite's Availability"). It is going to be great in a few years!

Pat,

Thanks for sharing that. Nice story, and nice boat. Give them some time, they will come around. One gallon an hour, nice. 6-7 knots, less nice. Maybe they will be convinced if you take em out for a December trip, and heat up the .........Wallas  :wink

Beautiful family. Great memories.

Patty went digging for pictures of Lydia as a baby. These two photos, taken about 28 years apart, are fairly amazing to us. The facial resemblance is uncanny. Genes are funny things I guess.
