Gas Prices

New Jersey gas $2.17
New Jersey Diesel $2.76
Pa. Gas $2.33 locally
Pa Diesel $3.03 locally
Pa. #2 heating oil $2.59
Diesel down from $4.00 dollars last year. That saves us over $250.00 in fuel for the Florida keys round trip if these prices hold till February. :D

2.29 on the Res....but thats a whole other story. I'll pay the 2.49 on the Navy base. Sure makes those duals more palatable... :xlol

$1.959/gal in Twin Falls, ID this morning. Bottled water $7.57/gal at same truck stop.

Joe - at that price, you could probably buy a 20-30 gallon plastic pump on wheels, pay a kid with a pickup to fill it several times and haul it down to the dock and still come out money ahead.

I don't use a lot of gas on this inland lake, but if I did, I'd call one of the local petroleum distributors that will send out a gas truck to your farm or ranch and have them meet me by the launch ramp. I'm sure they've got better prices and some very long hoses.

In New Jersey this past Sunday we saw unleaded regular gas for under $2.00 $1.97 to be exact, diesel was $2.12.
I can't understand why diesel was cheaper than gas in Canada but just the opposite here?

It's fuel taxes. We have the same issue in microcosm here. Diesel at the filling station is more expensive than unleaded, but buying the same fuel from the same vendor at the fuel dock, diesel is less expensive than unleaded.

The fuel at the fuel dock does not have any highway taxes associated. Similarly, in Canada, they tax diesel and unleaded similarly at filling stations.
 
Regular @ $2.65, Diesel @ $2.55/gal at I-5 exit 210.

Dave, years ago diesel was always about 10cents a litre cheaper than reg. gas. I bought my Tahoe 6.5t around 2006. Diesel immediately started to go up(or gas down). It then stayed about 10cents a litre higher than gas for years. Now that I have gone back to a gas powered truck it has gone down below gas prices.

So, I can only assume that prices all depend on what I drive! :P :P

Diesel and unleaded are both $3.19 in Anchorage today.
 
Diesel 2.19, unleaded reg ethanol 1.87, regular non ethanol 2.09. At gas stations ,not marinas.

Pa. gas $1.99 diesel $2.19 state fuel tax is a lot higher in Pa.
