Long time Garmin user, but I just jumped ship to TomTom. The Go 720 Brent mentioned earlier, is available as a refurb at Amazon right now - $159 delivered, with latest firmware and maps available. With the updates, it's essentially a 730, which goes for $350+. I'll follow up once it arrives, but it seems to get pretty rave reviews.
While a refurb, this unit has far more capabilities than the Nuvi 250W Black Friday special...for $30 more. It's more comparable to the some of the higher end Nuvi's mentioned already, but even then, it has features lacking on the 650/750 (Bluetooth, voice address input.)
