2006 25 Cruiser front center window slightly leaks: The rubber gasket around the front center window is shrinking at the corners as shown in the photo and I have noticed a little water leaks in when it rains (between the glass and the frame on the inside). It appears the previous owner tried to fix it with silicone glue on the inside but didn't do it right. Or is the rubber gasket shrinkage even the problem?
If it is the source of the leak ... can I just dry it out internally, open the window to a near horizontal position, then just fill those corner gaps with a quality self-leveling sealant (maybe like Black Dicor?). I also have thought maybe a product like Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure might work? Normally I would do a full repair (remove and re-bed the glass) but I am trying to start the Great Loop in a couple weeks and already have a long punch list to get through and would like to avoid this until I finish.
