Is there a launch at Anacortes that has a ramp, and has parking? The idea of using a sling seems like overkill for a 16' Angler.
I'm not familiar enough with CapSante to know if there is a ramp nearby. At least I've never heard of one with the trips I have done out of there. Cap Sante does have a smaller manual operated sling launch that is cheaper. I don't know if the 16 is under the weight restrictions for that one. You can go to their website to see. Parking has always been safe and secure for me, and I've left my truck and trailer for several weeks. It does cost $5 or $6 a day for parking. But with Gary's mention of Blaine, if I don't leave my rig down somewhere near the South Sound, and end up loading up to tow the boat farther north, as long as I'm already going to be driving I5, I will likely check out Blaine. Probably depends on how long I plan to stay on the water and what the harbor tells me if I want to leave the rig longer than 2 weeks. Colby
