I’ll have to try this AnalgX-Capture, wonder if it works with PDF files.

Capture will save a (BMP) screen dump to where ever you tell it and you can proceed from there. I use PhotoShop for cropping and printing. :smiled Jack
 
For local charts, it should make little difference that these charts are polyconic. Inland lake and river charts are done in polyconic projection anyway. If you are going great distances, then it certainly may make a difference, but usually one plots the great circle route for that type of travel anyway.
