For all You Navy Flyers

Great video. I am not a pilot, nor could I ever be. As my son once told me, taking off is optional but landing in some manner is always required - and it is how you land that is important. He is not a pilot either, but is an officer in the Air Force. My daughter and her husband are also in the Air Force and both fly the B-1 bomber. What an incredible aircraft. That is a career track I never imagined for my little ballerina, but I am enormously proud of her - of all of them.

This video and others like them, and the comments that many of you post as former military pilots, are wonderful and I truly appreciate them. They help bring me a bit closer to that unique life. Thanks to all of you!

Yeahhhh, it's cool...but can they fly backwards or hover? 8)

Seriously, nice to see the old school helmet decorating making a come back. Same for the planes, for that matter.

Rick, You are right, and you did notice the first few seconds of that video were from a rotary wing.

They both have their place. Thank goodness we have them both.
