Foggy Dew is for sale

It's official...Foggy Dew is sold. She's going to southern California and the new owners may chime in here and introduce themselves.

Going to be a bit strange being boatless for a while but we've had lots of offers to take us fishing this summer....and of course we'll still hang out here at the Pub.

Thanks everyone.

Yes, we feel lucky to have found Rick, Donna and to have a C-Dory in our life. As a long time sailor I never thought I would own a "Power" boat, but when I first ran into a C-Dory in Hawaii I realized that this was the boat that would do all that I wanted and more.

What a treasure "C-Brats" is for C-Dories! I sure hope to meet some of you in our travels.

Floyd,

Welcome aboard!

As a former sailor myself ( is there such a thing as a "former" sailor?), when we bought Valkyrie in '05 I started a thread asking how many C-Dory owners started in sail and somewhere around 75% had owned or still owned sailboats! Must be something about the design or simplicity of our beloved little boats.

Regards,

Nick

Floyd & Eiko,

Welcome aboard, from another "former" sailor. You found a great boat, and will enjoy it, I'm sure. Foggy Dew should be famous, it is the only C-Dory I ever caught a fish from. Go, enjoy and I'll try and get Rick and Donna out for a cruise occasionally.

Valkyrie and Hardee, thank you for the warm welcome and we are glad we are not the only sailors to cruise over to the "Pot" side! I took the new owner of our NorSea 27 out today for his maiden voyage and I hope he enjoyed her as much as I expect to enjoy Foggy Dew.

Bluechablis, That was tough to give up the NorSea. That is a beautiful boat. One of the few I would consider as worthy of an exchange for a C-Dory. They are considerably equals, and you will enjoy the CD 22 every bit as much, every bit as rewarding, (just less brightwork

Enjoy,

Harvey
