Fishing in the Tomcat255

Hey everyone. Just had a successful trip of deep water Lings and halibut at Neah Bay. We fished four guys. I noticed that water was building up at the floors of the deck. The water was coming from the self bailing holes on each side. Does anyone plug the holes while they fish and if so what do you suggest I use to avoid water build up from the self bailing holes.

We have tapered 2 inch plugs with a hole in the middle but only need them with 6 or more in the cockpit (us two are not as 'big boned' as crew and don't fish).
Make 3 of them fish from the bow and your issue will be solved, unless they're imbibing.
Check that the corner scupper rubber flapper valves aren't propped partly open by debris like a twig and that they're not due for replacement. It won't sink.

We like the idea of a baby grand piano in the cockpit. That would be unique, esp if finished to match the boat colors and trim.

Option #4 is (movie quote):
"We're gonna need a bigger boat!"

Happy plugging!
John
