Fishing- Albright Knots

I wondered if those of you who join braided line to monofiliment line using an albright knot, how many use glue to prevent them from slipping?
Last night i saw video of two products one an activator the second a glue or cement used to help prevent albright knots from slipping. The activator softens the shell on mono while not weakening it and the glue or cement seals and bonds the knot keeps the tag ends down. The two part system sells for 12 dollars and shipping to us would be six dollars. Pretty expensive stuff for two little bottles. I wondered if a little drop of knot glue would do the same. We have not had our albright knots slip all that much just wondering about the west coasties take on adding anything in the way of glue to an albright knot when joining braid to mono. The company that sells these products is called Jerry Brown Industries and they sell braided line and these other products they are west coast based out of Gold Hill, Oregon. I used the albright and uni-to-uni this past season without failure or glue.
The only time you need glue is when threading mono through hollow core.

like the uni to uni and have taken to adding a dab of super glue to help it run through the guides a bit smoother.
That J. Brown web site seems a bit odd to me for some reason, maybe because it's under construction
 
The video showed running the braid up thru a loop of mono making about 17 turns at the top they wound three more back down on top`of the seventeen and then went back thru the mono again. Then they started with the activator and glue. My take is that it was a bunch of hocus pocus and with the total of the two items totaling 18 dollars with shipping to the east coast the joke was on the guy who bought the stuff. Jerry Brown will be a rich man if everyone buys what he is selling. Yes the whole web site is weird. I wanted to float this out since he was west coast based. Double uni's work. What is a big striper in Va? Not setting you up just wondering. So Super glue does not weaken the mono?
