Just wanted to say hello as I just became a C Dory owner I picked up a 1989 22' cruiser that I am going to work on and bring up to speed.

it has been stored since 1997 so first task are bringing the hull and gel coat back to its good old shine, then theres a small list of task to do
-fix rubber around seals where it is pulling away
-bring teak wood back to life
-get the thing some decent power onto it (already purchased)

anyways just wanted to say hi as this place looks like it has a ton on information for these boats. and I am sure I will have my fair share of questions. but am excited to finally have been able to pick up one of these boats.

Welcome, neighbor! We live in Agnew. There are a few Brats in the area. If you need help with anything, just ask. Take lots of pics and get an album set up so everyone can watch your progress. Just PM Tyboo or Da Nag.

so how does one go about getting a photo album on here? is there someone I need to pm or e-mail

Well, you could give Tom some money, or you could just go to the top of this page, click on "Memberlist" and then PM or Email "CBAdmin" and ask to have an album set up.

Looking forward to some pictures!

Welcome to the joint.

Hi Jake,

Welcome to the neighborhood. All my good looking and smart Sequim neighbors have been saying "Howdy" so now the lucky Sequim guy is saying welcome too. (Lucky to have such a great Sequim contingent here.) There are several more C-Dory's around that don't participate here but they show up on the water. We all just smile and wave. Some cruise, some fish and some do both. We are all super C-Dory fans.

Sounds like you have your ducks in a row, and ready to go. Enjoy, and don't be a stranger here. This site is the C-Dory encyclopedia so study well, you never know when mother nature or the physics laws will take a stance and the test will be on.

Wish you the best, and enjoy.
