first C-dory

I asked this question of Les Lampman at EQ when looking at the differences between the 22 and 25. My only previous experience with a power boat was a 5 hp Honda on my 16' drift boat. Les said "you learned to drive on whatever car your family had. If it was a Volkswagen you learned to drive a Volkswagen, if it was a Buick, you learned to drive a Buick". It was good advice and I don't think the difference between the 22 and 25 will make much difference once you learn your boat.

Westfield 11, I'm not questioning your boat handling abilities, but as someone with a boat in charter your story is the kind that keeps me awake at night. If my charter company leased my boat to someone who only had river experience in a 17' boat, I'd toss the owner of the company overboard.

Nimrod,
If you are comfortable in your westie, the 22 will seem spacious! We have camped for years in my '71 sunroof VW campmobile ( it still purrs!) and boated just as comfortably with 2 kids in our 22' Tattosh. And it was easy to trailer to Desolation Sound and camp in it on the way!

It is the less is more option- efficient, comfy, and has all the amenities of a westie and more! Have a great time out there!
Beth
