Find Honda Outboard Model Year

I’m having trouble figuring out what year my Honda outboard is. Here are the only identifiers I’ve found. If anyone is able to help I’d appreciate it!

BF40A BAYL-3000943
Engine Family XHNXM. 8082GO

Any Honda Dealer can tell you from the Ser.# :thup :thup

Thanks! Dealer was able to tell me it’s a 1999
 
Yes, the dealers is right & I was wrong as it is a 1999. I was going by the the AY in the serial number making it a 2000, but the year made is represented in the Model Number not the serial number. Mine too were made in 1999 as identified in the AX part of the model number BF40AXLRTD. What confused me is the serial number having AY, as mine like yours started with BAYL & AY if in the model number would have made it a 2000.
