Favorite C-Brat boat

Bambina - because,

1) The 16's have the cute factor over all the other CD's
2) Brock's boat is incredibly well cared for
3) Brock's a nice and decent guy

Our favorite C-Brat boat is EVERY ONE -- we enjoy reading about all of them from you good folks! We've never met a C-Dory or a C-Dory owner that wasn't interesting, fun, and great to know!

My favorite is Pee Wee.

Whoa...almost had some latte come out my nose.

The C-Lous and I thank you, but man...there are so many good ones to choose from.

I must admit, Bambina came to mind first. Not only because the 16 Angler is my favorite C-Dory, but her captain and condition are so "Martha Stewart-esque". Of course, I'm referring to the unattainable standards Brock has set ...I've no idea what might show up if one performed a background check on the guy.

Two of my other favorites are TyBoo's boats. His 22 had more cool gizmos than any C-Dory I've seen. And while the CD25 is a model I've never felt a huge attraction towards, the interior on his early "Cruise Ship" is outstanding...the offset layout, with the larger table seating area make more sense to me than the new CD25 configuration.

And of course...there's the C-Lou. A no-frills fishing machine upon which I've probably spent more hours than my own 22. The fact that Cheez-Its, hook baiting, fish cleaning and all-around enjoyable company are included for the price of gas probably sways me a bit.

The one that comes to mind first is Sea Wolf. There are many others I like also, maybe as much but can't think of them off the top of my head.

I have to admit that I haven't met a C-Dory that I didn't like. The people and the stories that go with each are fantastic. I do have to say that I fell head over heals in love with one particular boat at the Sequim gathering. I quess it was partly because it was right out of the box with all of the upgrades that the factory has recently added, plus the super nice owners. Man, just when you think that the perfect boat has been built, a C-Brat or someone at the factory comes up with an improvement. The cool thing is that the factory listens to the feedback from the owners. I really like the way Larry and Cathy set the boat up, from main and kicker to all of the "trinkets". Nice boat you two!

To make a long story short, my favorite C-Dory is C-Ya, a 2006, 22. Sweet!

This question has no correct answer! Is it the boat? Is it the people? Is it cute? Is it the best set up for cruising? I don't know. Bambina certainly is a strong contender in my mind, for a lot of reasons. However, although I only saw it once, over a year ago, based on the boat itself, I think my (objective) vote goes to Brady's Minnow.

So, thats it, the Bambina wins the cherished C-Brat bottle opener. If it can be found it will be formally presented at the Lake Washington Cruise. (whatever happened to that opener?)

:smile

Our vote goes to the "Jenny G" with her high cabin and distinctive look. Of course, our "Mr. E's C" has to win the cutest or the smallest award....Wayne and Pam

Beer Guy Pat, I'm sucking on an Avalanche Winter Ale right now. On sale, I might add, for a penny under three bucks.

When I do that, I feel all warm and fuzzy. I purr, but I don't drool. Anyway, come boat show time, watch out, cause I'm fixin' to dish great, big, furry hugs. Cats get that way, you know.
