Experience with C Dory Dealers in PNW

I'm looking at buying a boat and curious about experiences you have had with C Dory dealers in the PNW:
Master Marine
Y-Marina
North Shore Marine

A bit of a drive south from where you are but we are pleased with the work from Sportcraft Marina in Portland, Oregon. They specialize in Suzuki and Honda, but work on all motor types. This is where we bought our boat and they did excellent work with our motor and electronic install’s. One thing nice about purchases in Oregon is that there is no state sales tax.
 
Sportcraft is great but they are no longer a cdory dealer

I’ve never dealt with master marine but they have some major discounts on new boats right now. I think I saw 2025 venture 26 for 175k fully rigged and on a trailer.

They had a tomcat 255 new and it was less than i was quoted factory direct last year
 
I ordered my 26 Venture through Master Marine. My advice to you would be…if you are ordering a new boat, save every invoice and compare prices on all of them. I have several invoices and no two are alike! NMI=fantastic! Master Marine=good luck. There are some new people at MM, so hopefully they’ve cleaned up their act. For service, I use Kitsap Marina. Master marine is about 20 miles north of me and is the Cdory and Sea sport dealer and I wish to god they where not. I have never bought anything from them but several brats have over the years or gotten work done there and its never been a good idea. Just shody and lazy work. Cheapest and lest thought out installation in the few I have seen. Other people recommend them but no one I know in the cdory or alum boat world BRAGS about them.
 
Good point Tom. This reminds me of being at the Seattle Boat Show a few years ago and Colleen and I happened to overhear a gentleman asking the rep from Master Marine questions about the 23 C-Dory Venture for sale on the floor. The rep did not know any of the answers that was being asked of him of the boat. I just couldn't help myself and found that I was able to answers all of the questions being asked. The salesman looked kind of sheepish and the man later on did buy a 23 Venture special order from the factory.
 
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I ended up buying a used 2021 Venture Sport from Master Marine. It was a good experience. The transaction was smooth and no surprises.
 
Good job on that purchase and great to hear of your satisfaction with Master Marine. Consider coming to the annual C-Brats Friday Harbor gathering next May. Would love to see your new to you 23 Venture Sport.
