Exact width of C-Dory 22 Cruiser on trailer

Gratitude

I am considering a 22' C-Dory Cruiser to be parked in a tight driveway.

Would someone please help me with the exact measurements outside fender to outside fender of the trailer?

Does it make a difference if using single axle or double axle?

I am aware that the boat has a beam of 7'8". I am assuming that the wheels are farther apart than the beam of the boat.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Jim,

Welcome to the board!

For an exact answer, you need to know what brand of trailer you are buying.

In Southern California, Pacific trailers are common. I would contact the C-Dory dealer and find out what trailer they sell and then contact the trailer company yourself for the measurement.

I had a Pacific trailer and got good service from the factory, which is located in Chino.

By the way, the tires stick out further than the fenders.

Jim,

Trailers for the CD22 are usually 96" wide or 102" wide depending on make and model. If you're purchasing a new boat you can specify which you'd prefer. If you're purchasing a used boat you'll have to ask the current owner or get the make and model of the trailer. There's really no "standard" here.

Hi Jim.... I just went out and put the tape on my trailer....a 22' cruiser....on a pacific trailer....it is exactally 96" outside of tire to outside of tire...
Hopefully your clearance is not 95"....

Good Luck..
