Everett ramp at a -2.0 tide

Anyone ever launch a CD at the Everett ramp during low tide. I'll be launching this Friday around noon - looks like a -2.0. I've never launched there before. I called the marina office and all I got was, "we maintain our facilities to be useable at all times." Let's just say I wasn't convinced...
Main concerns are if the concrete ends at a drop off, or if it levels off such that the tow rig will be half submerged before the boat will float off the bunks.
 
I have launched there alot, and as long as you have four wheel drive I would go for it. The everett launch is the best launch I've ever been to. Top notch. I can't say for sure if I've launched there during a -2 but I'm pretty sure I have. Have fun!

Ditto what Sark states. It is my normal launch as well and shouldn't be a problem. The launch ramps, especially if you stay to the south end are fairly steep and deep. The retrieval end which is north is a bit flatter and not as deep and occasionally creates problems. I'd still watch out for the ramp ending with a slight drop off.

The Everett launch has got to be one of the nicest in Puget Sound. I would be very surprised if you had much problem launching at -2. BUT retrieving at that is a different story! For that I would say you would need a 4x4 just for traction :)

HINT: As soon as the boat starts pulling you down the ramp slip the car in nuetral and be ready to drop it in gear if needed. That will prevent reverse from allowing the brakes to work with all 4 wheels (IE still going backwards with the front wheels skidding). It can make a huge difference on slippery ramps! For those of you with a clutch do the same thing only drop it in first and leave the clutch depressed. Then simply let the clutch out to pull forward.
 
I've never had any problems at the Everett Launch in a minus tide (don't remember how much minus). There are plenty of launch lanes to choose from, so walk down the lanes first and determine which looks the best. Occasionally, some of the ramps will have mud build up in your way, so select a lane that looks better. This is truly the best launch/retrieval/parking facility that I've ever been to!
 
Thanks for all the info fellas. I've heard good things about that ramp but having never been there - much less at a low low tide - I needed a little advice. Nothing like being stuck at a ramp waiting for the water to rise. I do have 4WD so it I should be in good shape.
