Engine Mount Trolling Motor & 5100

Hi Folks
Anyone tried one of these?? Looks pretty cool - My 130 on a 23 seems too fast for the troll and this seems like a nice solution. I don't want to mount another engine or have this gangly looking thing sitting on the transom. The advertisements are great but are there down sides - does it interfere with planing? The ones I looked at are screwed to the cavitation plate - when you are in salt water how will these holes affect things - is this a duct tape job??
Any Ideas?
OK how about this 5100 - looks necessary for any holes but how about an adhesive? My nick name is "good with glue" and I would use epoxy to attach stuff to the interior of the Galley (spice rack). Is the 5100 better?? Is it 2 part or do you use it like contact cement?
Thanks for any replies and for all the past ones for this rookie.
Hank

Hank-

I have such a a trolling motor on my CD-22 mounted on my 2005 Yamaha 4-Stroke EFI motor, and love it for slow speed trolling.

Read all about it HERE.

I'll be up at the lake for a day or two, but can answer questions when I return.
