Greetings. I'd like to put in a plug for a couple of marine vendors here in West Seattle. First is Sorensen marine in White Center. Tohatsu dealer and general boat repair shop. Expert small outboard service. I've dealt with them a couple of times and they've been exceedingly helpful both times. On the order of EQ (who I of course recommend unconditionally) in the areas they service. The other is Sea-Way Marine in West Seattle. They specialize in hard to find older outboard parts for Johnson and other makes. Have a huge inventory of parts and run a large internet business. They also have a walk-up counter where today I purchased, for only $10.00, the little lanyard clip to hold the kill switch in the "run" position for my 1985 Johnson 40. Very nice and very skilled at identifying the parts you require. Hope your purchasing experiences are as good as what I've had with these small firms. Thanks, Mike.
