Just picked up my 1990 22 ft C-Dory Angler from Oakland ,California for the long drive back home! He saw my ad in this forum last Sept.
The distance....working out the inumeral problems with importing a boat from the USA to Canada...weather in Dec...he is almost home as we speak! During the process I have made a new friend. One of the reasions he trusted the whole deal...even though his friends in Canada thought he was crazy..was the C-Brat community! although he did his homework on me and the boat he felt comfortable because of all the good people in this
Forum. Let us all welcome ED to his new life as a C-Brat!!

Thank you for the welcome
Just got home last evening. 3300 miles round trip in 6 days.
We were lucky, only wind and snow problems through the Crowsnest pass on the way down. The weather for the trip home was as good as could be wished. Dry roads from Oakland all the way to Edmonton.
The views of Mount Shasta & Mount Hood were spectacular.
Dick, and Bill at the Outboard motor Shop, had everything ready for us and the boat was in better shape than the pictures showed.
Dick and Shirley welcomed us like family and we fell we have made good friends in California.
Thanks to the C-Brat site for making this possible.
We will name her "LADY C" C for my wife and partner, Colette
LADY is still getting accustomed to her new surroundings and she is impressing lots of people around here.
Good luck to Dick and Shirley with their new Tom Cat.
Can't wait for spring break up.
Now I will have to learn how to get an album posted.

Yep, all us guys gotta give credit to our wives, significant others, etc -- if not for them, we'd have no C-Dory's :love :lips :hug :hug2 I toast :beer / :cocktail Gin every chance I get!!!

oops! forgot to give props to Dick&Shirley Enderle for making the sale to Ed/Colette such a positive experience - makes the C-Brats look absolutely awesome :thup as it says right at the beginning: "No rules - just be nice"!! :D
