I know a few of you have stored your c dorys on the hard in Anacortes for the winter and was wondering where you stored it and approximate costs. I am thinking of taking my sailboat out of the water late next fall and putting it in storage till the following spring. Anacortes seemed like a good possibility but would also be interested in another area in the Puget sound area.

We've kept C-Dancer at Twin Bridges for probably 8 out of the 11 seasons we've owned her. Great facility, clean, well-run, nice people, very convenient for working on your boat and they will store your trailer as well. Depending on the size of your boat, you're probably looking at $300+ per month, more if not storing for full year. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Plus you're at the gateway to the San Juans.

There are several boatyards in Anacortes that have large outdoor storage. We put our C-Dory in indoor storage at Marine Services - it isn't stack storage, so you can go in there on your trailer (if your sailboat has a trailer). They also have a large travel-lift and can block up your boat for winter storage if you don't have a trailer.

A search with: boat storage Anacortes WA

... will get you lots of options.

I agree with Peter about Twin Bridges; pricey but convenient.

I would be surprised if they could accommodate your sailboat unless your keel is retractable.

I had Plan C indoors at Skyline Marina last year and it was ~$200 a month.

Boat is not trailerable. Was planning on having it blocked up outside.

Pacific marine in Anacortes. We kept our Ranger tug on blocks for 2 winters there. Great people to work with and they have a 300' dock.

That sounds like the place to check out, thanks.
