Last night I was reading an article about the Ranger 29 in the 8/09 magazine "Motor Boating". When I turned to page 39 there was a photo of "Dreamer" and another un-named C-Dory moored at the same dock as the featured Ranger 29.

Congratulations Roger and Janet, you've been published!

That is us on the dock at Jones Island w/ Roger and Janet Clark's Dreamer. The Clarks were kind enough to allow us to tag along w/ them for ten days (our 1st trip into the San Juans and across the Straits on our 23' Venture) spanning both the Friday Harbor and then the Anacortes CBGTs.

Interestingly enough, the other large boat at the dock (besides the Ranger Tug) - the white Krogen Trawler named Patience - was formerly owned by Roger and Janet.

Take care,
Dan & Tanya

It looks like this is the month for C-Brats to be published in Motor Boating. On page 9 "Sounding off" They published a photo of our Golden Ret. "Dawson", from last years cruise to SE Ak. If you attend the SBS you probably know him.

I just found the article tonight, Mail came over the weekend. Obviously Robbi rates higher than we do with the USPS. Sure looks like that Ranger tug keeps good company :thup :thup

Roger, Thanks for the link,

My apologies Dave, You are also higher on the MotorBoating mailing list than I am, and got the post into the site first.

And Congratulations on the wedding anniversary too. And best wishes for many more.

I have no ins with the USPS, I just pulled the picture from the MotorBoating website.

Dan and Tanya, Thought that was a 23, nice that it is your boat. Enjoy your 4th cruise.

Robbi

Tanks Robbi. It was great spending time talking to you at the recent Langley CBGT.

BTW, in returning home this past Friday afternoon from SEATAC airport (and a trip to Boise) - it was about 1500 or so perhaps - crossing over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on an airport shuttle I saw what looked to be a C-Dory fishing on the western side of the Narrows to the north of the bridge. Was that you per chance?

Hope you and all the other Brats have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July weekend!

Take care,
Dan & Tanya
