Since there are many dog owners on the list, I recieved this message from my aunt. She is 88 years young and a new computer user. My brother bought her a notebook and she loves the internet and email.

> The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my

> Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.
> He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a

The last line was special to me.....
Roxy my dog has been going through Service Dog Training...and is about 1/2 way through...5 more weeks....
Yesterday at the hospital they asked if Rox could visit a very sick lady who was having a bad day.... it was just super... Rox did just perfect...she greeted the lady, then snuggled next to her..... what a wonderful gift ... I am not normally so emotional but my voice was weak.... such love an animal can give.... the lady was thrilled (me too) and when it was time to go, she made me promise to come back every week.... for a special visit....
I really didn't think this Service Dog Certification would make a softie out of me....but it sure has.... What a dog !! Love her..

Joel.....(and the wonder dog) Roxy
