Does the Venture have a bigger refrig or different interior?

We probably can't afford or even find a used Venture, but I'm wondering why exactly they are more pricey.. Is the interior different?

Wouldn't it be possible to put a bigger refrig in if you put it under the wallace stove? Just asking (I have Ranger Tug envy).

We order all our new C Dorys with a NovaKool fridge . Its what Ranger switched to years ago and they are more efficient and quieter with the Danfoss type compressor. Norcold is the most common boat and RV fridge and works fine , but are not the most modern or efficient these days .
The finish and core materials of the Venture would vary between Cape Cruiser/C Dory or Triton Marine version of the Venture. We are ordering new ones built like traditional C Dorys as many here like the simple functional interior over the vinyl and foam liners .There is not a huge dollar difference between new and used in the ventures , due to the demand for the boats . You can grow old waiting for the "deal" or go boating . Some just like dreaming/shopping . That's what I gather as a dealer .

WE have the cape cruiser hull 3 it's an 06 we have the dometric fridge under the wallas . We hardly ever use it . Unless we are hooked up to shore power . An ice chest works for us . I usually use it for storage . also our cc23 is more like a cd-22cruiser it does not have vinyl interior or the nicer cabinets of the venture 23 's from fluid or triton builders . The cc23 and venture series are 1000lb heavier and have a deeper deadrise giving it a considerable better ride in chop also it does not bow steer in a following sea like the cd 19and 22's . having had both boats it is a far superior vessel in every respect except towing . For a few more $ it is well worth it.There is a 09 for sale that would be worth a look .If you are down in fl I can give you a ride .


I also changed the wiring to the fridge to a number 10 from a 12 gauge this seemed to help ..If buying a cape cruiser I would check the wire gauge and change it to a bigger wire .
