Do we use our boat enough?

Sundog Joe,

Great photos of the trip and family.

My wife and I both work for companies and my wife is in retail, so at times even her weekends and holidays are booked. We both have the occasional business trip, which leaves us only planned vacations and weekends so we try to use the boat when we can. We even manage to get in some weekday, dinner trips when possible.

Yes, boats are expensive. I figure financially I'm losing money, but when it comes to bonding with my kids and hopefully giving them something to do other than...(name your vice), I think the investment starts to make sense.

Hi Folks,

It has always been said that you need "bundles of time" to own a sailboat.

If you are still working, as I am, it's true with a C-Dory.

I would never give up my few hours that I spend on INN-THE-WATER.

I should be able to write the boat off as a medical expense, except most IRS agents don't even know what a boat looks like.

As little time as I have on my boat, it's worth every moment. Maybe someday!!!!!!!.
