Desolation Sound Aug 5-12

Hello Folks, We're planning on cruising Desolation Sound August 5-12 and spending the following week in Nootka Sound. Wondering if there will be any other Brats in the vicinity of Desolation Sound around the same time. If so, please respond or send us a personal message if you're interested in hooking up.

There is a Group MMSI number to do a group call (DSC) but I have found better results from doing hail on VHF 16 ( " Any C-BRAT, Any C-BRAT, Any C-BRAT ) and I do that several times a day. I have had good responses, for teh VHF call, not so much with the DSC group call.

It looks like we'll just miss you Tim and Pam. We'll be at Critter Cove from Aug 8-12, leaving on the 13th and possibly even the 11th.

Have a nice time in Desolation Sound.
 
Thanks for the reply. There is a good chance that our paths will cross as we plan to put in at Gold River the morning of the 12th. We'll keep an eye out for the C-Dancer.
 
Love to go back there, the photo I took of True Story in 2005 (do you believe it was that long ago?) is still one of my favorites! But it is our year for the Great Loop, we are about 2,200 miles into with about 3,800 more to go! We are on the Trent-Severn in Campbellford, Ont., right now!
