Dates???

Byrdman

Sneaks: Going to be out your way a week earlier.... from around 29Dec thru 1Jan. Would love to get together with some of my C-Dory friends in that neck of the woods for an afternoon/evening if possible too... particuarly if a lot of yall aint heading up to the Seattle boat show stuff.

Byrdman

You'd certainly be welcomed, Birdman. We can't get up to this year's show again this year, so if you "google earth" 32 44' 19.51" N 117 12' 25.55" W from about 500 ft. altitude, you'll see me waving from the deck of the Jenny B as you arrive if your plane lands west to east at the San Diego airport.

I know Chris (Rana Verde) is going to the show but he'd probably still be here, dunno about Journey On, but I'm sure Boris would make an effort too. He's got a really neat tow vehicle you might be interested in checking out as well.

Don

Don, Got your email with cell number. I have not seen Chris since he joined us in the Nashville gathering last spring. Great time. Will get with Sherryl to get with the wife of our friends we are staying with...to get some idea of "their" dailey/afternoon/evning schedules... then Dan and I can slip out and do some boating friends stuff. I will also find out where Dan keeps his boat(s) as far as marinas. This is sounding good!

This is our dogs' favorite part of construction...

Nice roof-roof. Dang, another crummy weather day on the peninsula! You better quite doctorin those photos or everyone is going to be moving over there. Robbi

Hey Bill,

From a wood cops point of view the Hardi-plank is a great choice of material and if painted with a traditional barn red it will look great for many years with a minimum of up keep. A good choice, got my vote.

Tim

Too Cool !!! I must admit that was my 1st virtual barn tour.... Sweeet... but to call something this nice a barn just seems wrong. Looking back at a few post.... I have to agree with Robbi..... it would look just bad to the bone with a nice C-Dory weather vein up top...... I am truly surprised in you Bill that the drawings do not have at least one door open with the front view of the C-Dory "In the House"....

Very nice...and I must make a visit during my 06 west coast pilgramige.

View from bottom of property. We decided to add a 9x12 storm room off the front door shown here, should be framed up in a couple weeks.

Back side. Door on second floor will lead onto a 12x24 deck. Deck will have a rubberized/sealed surface, for ease of maintenance and to allow dry storage below.

Hi,
Is this at the development on Place road ? We have some friends that live at the end on the water. Nice spot the elway has some good fishing for steelhead and salmon down by the mouth.

Nope, we're west of there, closer to the middle of the bay - a little east of the launch ramp. My contractor lives in that development, though - Chris James w/Freshwater Bay Builders. You know him?

Hi ,
I don't know him, live on Bainbridge . I have been to that ramp just to shallow to launch my 22 but was really cool you could wade out about 50 yards in shallow water looks like some thing you would exspect to see in the Florida keys . Our friends sad it can be a bear in any kind of wind though.
Richard

Don't even try when the wind is snorting. Water breaking over the transom, boat bouncing on the trailer, and stuff floating out to sea just ain't fun. But sooo close to the best fishing anywhere. HUGE butt slabs just minutes from Da Digs!!!!

Little 16 ft. CD or similar would be ideal.

MY COUNTRY-
