Not familiar with that breed. What do they weigh, how agile are they, and how old are these particular dogs?

Absolutely. Bring plenty of catnip, a few of those little rubber mice, the ones with the extra long tails, and a small, portable scratching post. I think that way your guys will be happier and sleep better.

Thanks for the feedback. Porsche and Charlie are ~20 pounds each - and are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. If I can ever find a picture, I'll try to post it. They don't care for water (long hair, floppy ears) but are great companions.

I was hoping to find a way to avoid the twice daily row ashore when cruising. The duct tape might work, but I suspect it will be tough to remove and will stick to their fur. . I am still trying to figure out what to do with the catnip?

As B~C pointed out a long time ago on a C-Brat site far, far away, you can use the handy dandy hose that comes with your vacuuum sealer prior to loading the animals on board. They take up a whole lot less space that way. Most all critters have a built-in port for attaching the hose.

Well...we've gone and done it. Koko and Chim Chim have a new puppy pal on the way.

Here's Lulu - the latest addition to the Da Nag crew.

Born June 1st, she's only a couple weeks old in the first two pics., 9 weeks old with Dana in the last one. Met her, mom and her littermates at the breeder's yesterday, where she'll be staying for one more week. Gives us a little time to get the final puppy-proofing in place.

Thirty five years later I still recall the friendship I shared with Cinder, my black cockapoo, who routinely escorted me on my paper route. What a good friend he was.

OK, Austin took this shot of Oscar today on our November Lake Washington day trip...kind of reminds you of Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots in Shrek 2, doesn't it! Looks totally different with all his fur shorn, too! :wink:

Whoa! Oscar! My whole family (and we got a big one) got a kick out of those pictures. Wait until B~C gets a load of him. He called Capt. Elliot an "albino wharf rat", and he didn't look near as rat-dog like as the new Oscar. Kay says his face is a whole bunch cuter now, with less hair.

One neat thing about them Lhasa Apsholes is that the hair grows back quick. Kay has taken to trimming Skipper herself to save the forty bucks or whatever. No matter how bad he gets screwed up, it only takes a couple weeks to fix it, and he's still cute the whole time.
