Might have missed it being mentioned here, but has anyone seen this TC24 before? It's certainly not one that would be forgotten.

It's sitting in a boat yard in Port Townsend - check out the folding upper helm station!

A dealer told me about it and I asked to see photos cause I just couldn't picture it. Never did see them till now.

Not my cup of tea, but then again I never fish for tuna.

But with your tomcat, you could fish for tuna. Beware, once you do, it can become a consuming passion that you will think about almost daily. 8)

The flip top controls would make it nice for backing down on a big blue fin tuna or looking so cool backing into a slip. I'll take a Nordic Tug thank you.

Yeah...but it's really only necessary to have friends with TomCats.

I saw that today, but didn't put "tuna" with it. seems like a awful lot of work to give that boat more windage

Figured it was there for bottom paint or service, not for sale. No body around the office when I stopped.

Do you know if it is listed for sale or just in for work?

Will be buying a TC as soon as my Thunder Jet sells.

I do not believe it is for sale. I am familiar with the boat primarily because I purchased the trailer from a dealer that this boat's owner previously used.

They sold the trailer and replaced with the triple axle trailer seen in the photos. When I inquired as to why the owner was selling the trailer, I was told that due to the "Tuna Tower" that they wanted something more heavy duty to handle the extra weight.

If it was for sale on that lot it would have a sign on it, I'd be pretty sure.

If you are really looking for a TC, their is one for sale, TC24, listed on the site now. You might want to connect there before it goes away. They are not real common of the for sale side here.

Yes, I have seen Reds' TC24 in the for sale section. Definetly interested in it and another 255, but have to sell my TJ first. Know anyone interested in a Thunder Jet? Its going cheap...lol

It's currently listed as a 255 model but is actually a 24ft Tomcat.

Not sure if the additions are good for most owners but it would be a nice view from up there.

The price is on the high side for a 24, but I am sure that the seller has more than that in the boat. The bow stop is not what I would want on a Tom Cat trailer. The boat has twin Suzuki 140's, so it should have plenty of "zip". It would be interesting to see what the ride was like in heavy seas, when on top!

Boat looks clean, and for some fisherman it may be a good fit...

After a year of searching, waiting for my TJ to sell and some trial and error, I am now a C-Dory Owner. We will be out on the water the first weekend in Oct after the tower is removed and all holes reglassed and gelcoated.
Like most boats there are a couple projects waiting for me in there but she will be ready for the winter blackmouth season in no time. Launa and I are looking forward to all the opportunities this TC24 opens up for enjoying the Puget Sound and San Juans. We also look forward to the get togethers and meeting some great people.

The official name will be FREQUENT-C

Steve,

Congrats on the good choice(s). Hope to get to see you on the waters in the area. The TC24 is pretty distinctive. Enjoy.
