Coupler lock video

That was fun to watch. I think he really busted his knuckles when that hacksaw technique finally broke through. This salesman sucked it up though and finished his pitch!!

Wrap a chain around the hitch and lift - defeats any hitch lock.

Insurance is what I count on, but if a physical device was in my bag of tricks - I'd get a wheel boot that covered the lug nuts.

I have a "boot" which locks on the rim, and "secure" lug nuts…but you can defeat any security system. The chain around the lift sounds good, I also use a chain around the frame, and "spokes" of the wheel, on the inside, so it is not obvious, but if you have chain cutters or a cut off wheel (both of which I carry in the RV), you can cut off almost any lock in a very short time. (Also locks can be drilled out, or cut with a carbide blade sawzall.)

I had a boat trailer stolen a number of years ago. That is what insurance is for, but you want to make your boat/trailer harder to seal other than the one next to yours! Thiefs take the easiest target.
