cockpit seating

We "invested" in two Lafuma flolding recliners and have been very pleased. They are very lightweight and well constructed and easily carried ashore for gatherings. In addition, you have a variety of color choices

These look very similar to the recliner I have, but much lighter weight. I noted on Amazon that there seem to be two weights--one 9# and one 18# . I would guess that you have the 9#, with aluminum frames. (and more expensive)

Found "Capt Mac" pictures and his back bench. Every boat we have had has had cockpit seating so I never really thought about it until considering a 22. With the right materials and a very handy husband, lounging is very doable if we decide to go the built in route. otherwise it appears we could create seating for four or lounging for two with those loungers that become chairs- It appears what they have done with own chairs is a study in itself.
