Chesapeake Bay and Puget Sound

Just finished watching a great show on the bay and sound which brought the two coasts together in a
common fight - goal - against pollution of our beloved waters.
PBS just finished airing the show but I understand you can watch it at PBS.org if you missed it.
Worthwhile.
We are all part of the problem and have to do whatever we can in our everyday lives to stem the tide.

Yes Bill I saw it.

I guess the only folks who really need to worry about it are those who drink water and live south of either of the water shed areas. Wow...that is almost the entire US water supply.

Some scarey stuff that they are finding even in the filtered/treated waters that the current system filters are not even designed to catch.

Only big chicken farms, run off, plastics, and day to day stuff to be the causes. Kinda scary...and I have it recorded. Truly shocking.

Did not catch it Bill but I will. We see articles every day in local papers about the bay and fish and crabs. We are ardent members of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and support it lustily! The Bay got a D- in their latest ratings.
