Yep, at my age we are changing our life plans. We live by our motto, "Adventure before Dementia".

First sold was our C-Dory. Now our Camano Troll is for sale, under 100k CAD. If you want to move up to more luxury but do not want to give up fuel economy, this may be an option to consider.Presently in Comox, Vancouver Island, BC.

If interested, email me for more info. bridges45@shaw.ca

Good luck with your sale Martin. You won't have a problem selling your Camano in your neck of the woods. Great boats!! I was very impressed by the build quality of my old Camano 31.

As our State just opened up "motorized boating", the below is an indication as how
one aspect of boating will change especially for those who have had their vessel
on the hard for last winter:

....we must ask that all boaters continue to support the following safety guidelines as suggested by the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA):

Wear a mask until you have departed on your vessel.
Get into your vessel quickly as to keep the docks clear.
Wait until the dock is clear if you are unable to stay 6 feet from your fellow boaters.
Do not socialize on the docks.
Boat with only those in your household.

By adhering to these procedures we will assure everyone’s safety and begin another memorable summer of boating!

Was "Before occupying your vessel, be sure to disinfect all areas aboard" omitted?
Don't forget the engine oil dipstick(s)...

Life, as we knew it, has changed.

Aye.

Well there was a nice sunny day at Dana Point Harbor last weekend in S. Calif. (The same day that about 40,000 people descended on Newport Beach). Boating never seemed to close at Dana Point. My son took his inflatable to the "sandbar", he sent me photos. Boats are rafted together, people are socializing, closely together.

People just don't care. Or they don't get it! It happens that my son is immune compromised, so he wears a mask and gloves whenever he is out--and does practice social distancing.
