CD22 High Top?

I just ordered a 22..considered the high top. I'm 5' 11"...the regular top seemed fine for me. And i like the "line" of the boat bettr with the regular top

I'm 6'3. The regular top just doesn't have enough clearance. Especially with a full head of hair. Tall top gives me plenty of room, more room for "stuff" on the front shelf, and a feeling of spaciousness wothout losing anything, including, IMHO, the Sea Dory "Character."
 
On the high top option, where are the extra inches added? Are the windows the same size or are they taller? Does it give you any more height for the vee berth?
 
The high and standard top boats are the same, the difference lies in that center portion of the roof, it's poped up a bit higher
 
The tall top can best be visualized from the view below. A standard top is 3" shorter than the tall top and it all happens above the rocket launcher mounting. It also makes the actual top slightly narrower, but that's no big deal.

I am 6'1'' and went with standard top, same reason as terraplane. Low on the hair, but no additional bumps on the noggin either,
