CD 16 alternative

The Rosborough 18 is an interesting alternative to the CD 16. Tough boats -- one researcher has had them dropped into some pretty remote spots.

Granted, they are beautiful boats and this one seems very affordable. But an alternative to a 16 foot C-Dory? I don't think so. A C-Dory has a 40 or a 50 hp engine as opposed to a 115. The C-Dory tows well behind a 4 cylinder car and with the articulated trailer tongue can be parked in an garage with an 8 foot door (well, the Angler can). Finally, of course the C-Dory is 2 feet shorter. But the Rosborough is certainly a good alternative to a Duroboat if you're planning to do the loop.

That is a cool boat, but it is not a substitute/upgrade for a 16' C-Dory, totally different animal that I would not care to feed! It is, however, a sweet looking little thing.
