Carbon Motors’ Chapter 7 filing

Maybe they would have been better off with Homeland security boats! I saw where one company in Miami, Florida is building "target drones" on an old Cigarette hull mold--complete with fake consoles, old 115 Evinrude outboards and dummies--to be towed behind boats at 35 knots so Homeland security can shoot at them. I think they were getting somewhere between $20,000 to $30,000 per boat--and I suspect that the boats are a one time deal--even with styrofoam filled hulls! Those 50 cal do a number on any hull!

It looks like one prototype police car was produced--and 3 vice presidents were suing for $600,000 each for "back wages"! Wonder about the business plan!

Too bad, I suspect that jobs were lost in hard times. But to predicate the entire deal on a large government loan seems foolish.
