I was wondering when you were going to bring up the larger tow vehicle. I now have a 1995 Ford Explorer Sport (2 door) with some rusting coming through. My wife says that when it goes, I could rent a tow vehicle, or add a tow hitch to my son-in-law's truck.
I could purchase a new SUV but the price would have to be deep discounted to reflect the increase of gas used. I drive less than 10,000 miles a year.
I have thought about a Ford Ranger which has a relatively high MPG and could then add a pop top slide on camper.
The new prices makes some of the options I was considering out.
Either way, I know that I do not have to get rid of my 22' C-Dory. It has to be the most economical power cruising boat in the world.

ps. Todays temperature in Nantucket was over 80 degrees, which is hot for Nantucket. First the Arabs take all our money by increasing the cost of oil. Then the sent to us their weather.
