Awhile The Captain noticed that one of the clear plastic, zip-out windows on the camperback had a one inch tear in it. :thdown
Rather than spend a lot of bucks for a small tear (replace the plastic panel) I went hunting for some repair tape. WM recommended clear duct tape but we all know what eventually happens to duct after it has been exposed to sun for long periods.
Drawing on my days of RVing I recalled seeing a clear tape used to repair RV awnings. I got a roll from the local RV dealer ($15) and it works like a champ. Cut 2 pieces of the same length and put one piece of tape on the inside of the plastic and the other on the outside of the plastic. Sealed the hole and it doesn't look tacky. :thup
