Camper Back for 19'

Happy New Year to everyone!
After much searching i still haven't found what i'm looking for. Because of where i'm living ,i have little options. C-Run has a nice Camper Back but i like to keep the roofline the same hight as i'm not very tall. Even so it is a little smaller boat, i really like the Back on the Bambina. I understand King Marine made Camper Backs for the C- dory Factory. Does anybody have a picture showing a 19'CD with that Factory Canvas ? What would the cost be? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Peter.

Just contact Dave at King Canvas and ask him.

From my experience in the past, he is helpful on the phone. On their website there is a picture of a nice camperback on a 22 footer. Good luck and Happy New Year to you.

When I bought C-Run from the factory, I bought the camper back as a factory option. King Marine did the work at the factory.
I agree with you about the height. If I were to do it again, I would make the Bimini shorter, just an inch or two taller than my height. It would have the lines similar to Bambina. :cat

Hi all
Not to steal a thread but..
I too have been wondering about a camper or bimini for my 19. The biggest question I have though- is how much it (or the supports) will interfere with fishing?? Are they easily moved forward and out of the way, and how does it travel on the highway..i.e. would you have to pull it off to fish or travel?

If you are going to fish you will want to move the top forward to the bulkhead. In order to do this with ease I recommend that you use fast release ends on the frame. By mounting a extra pair of fast release bases at the cabin wall you can quickly move the top back and out of the way by your self or with a little help. then use bungees to hold the top to the hand rail at the back of the cabin.

This set up allows you to move the top so you can fish and still have it on board for the night or if it starts to rain.

Bambina is a 16 not 19. I don't know if there is a difference in the cabin roof-line height between the two. There are differneces in a "hightop" a cruiser, and angler roof I believe. Marty is the expert on that.
