On the CD25 there are 3 connections going into the box with the pump under the hanging closet. One is from the hot water drain, one from the shower. Where does the third on come from?

Thanks & Merry Christmas to all

Patrick

Boy I love a quiz. With out crawling under the tarp to look I would say the 3rd one is the discharge line going overboard.
Surely you wont have to wait long for a credible answer though as i'm sure everyone is out lookin right now as I write this.

No, there are 3 intake and 1 discharge.

If you have A/C on the boat, it's the condensate line.

Thanks, I do have A/C.

Our boat has two hoses to the sump, but there is a stub for a third hose.
The two are shower and hot water heater drain. Where is the air conditioner in your CD 25? I wonder if there is a good gravity feed to the sump?

My A/C is located on the roof center with the front of the A/C about 12 feet back from the bow rail.

OK... Just gotta know on this one... If it is the condensation for the AC.. why route water that is way higher than the water line to start with, into an area inside and low in the boat that has to be pumped anyway??? This is of course thinking that the sink drain is about 1/2 between the roof and the floor of the boat, way higher than the water line, and gravity puts that water.....outside the boat from the git-go? Gravity always wins. What am I missing here?

I am the new guy here but I have had pop-up campers for many years with the A/C on the roof. I can promise you the condensation from the A/C will run off the roof at exactly where you don't want it (door, open window, etc.) The drip, drip, drip will get to you.

If on the boat it is channeled to the enclosed box along the shower water and water heater drain and then pumped overboard at the same place all the time then I will take it.

Went and traced the extra hose. It goes to the water heater expansion valve.

Should have done that to start with. Sorry.

We have not had a problem with the AC condensate from our RV airconditioner on the TC 255--but agree in RV's they can be a problem!

I agree with Bob, our condensation drips off the sides of the boat. It has not been a problem.
