Sorry, I should have said flying. Is that correct? One of my graduate students here at Western Washington University travels to UBC in Vancouver twice a week for her research (day trips) and does not need a test to get back into the US after the work day.
Still sucks for those that can't or won't get vaccinated. Border just needs to open.
