C-Quest's last ride

We did an overnight on a friends chartered Cutwater from Anacortes to Sidney, BC on Sunday, then returned and picked up our 22 for a night on Sucia. Upon return I cleaned the boat and put it to bed for the winter. Next day we spent at the boat show and today I am cleaning out the boat as it is sold. We purchased a 2011 Ranger Tug 27 and can't wait to spend some time aboard!

Congratulations on your new boat! That is quite an upgrade - you will enjoy the space, accommodations, and amenities. That 27 is a great combination of liveability and trailerability (if that's a word? )! Of course, you'll need a truck to tow it. What a way to go! :thup

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Congratulations you two and I am glad you found the package that gets you even more excited to get out on the water. Let everyone know when you have it named so we can keep an eye out for you.

Congratulations and welcome to the Dark Side. What a nice boat!

Ah, Herb, you're only "the dark side" if someone is moving to a Ranger from a sailboat. We still consider y'all cousins... cousins on the side of the family that we don't much talk about, but still kin.

There has been some discussion amongst C-Dory folks about the surgery necessary to move to a Ranger Tug... you know, that rhinoplasty that turns your nose up!  8) Of course, that's a joke, 'cause I'm putting this in there:

Best wishes,
Jim

Yeah, I keep telling them to keep the wine cooler at 54degrees and the hot tub at 105 but they keep getting it reversed. I'd get a Ranger myself but we'd have to sell one of the Porsches and some of the horses...

Seriously, that's a great boat, congratulations! Hope to see Herb and Wilma at our pier next summer!

Jim, no new truck, the wife has drawn the line in the sand, we will store this winter in Anacortes on the dry and then decide where to store her at that point.

Roger, you are correct it was that boat. We are having a few items added at no cost such as the teak table that was on the new 2013 at the show and Jeff is throwing in a full boat cover that is a heavy reusable plastic cover with a clear piece for the solar panel to function. He took our 22 in trade and will pick it up in a few days after we are back in Calif.
